Our mission

Pediatric Play Therapy is a clinician-owned multidisciplinary pediatric facility that has been dedicated to serving the South Bay since 2002. We have a passionate team of highly skilled speech and language pathologists, oral motor specialists, and occupational therapists who specialize in sensory integration.

Our primary goal is to support our clients and their families in overcoming life’s challenges. We offer tailored services for individuals struggling with sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, or motor coordination difficulties. These challenges can significantly impact essential daily living tasks such as eating, playing, sleeping, dressing, toileting, and communication.

At Pediatric Play Therapy, we recognize that every child is unique, and we strive to create a friendly and nurturing environment where they can thrive. By addressing behavioral and emotional responses alongside motor skills and social interactions, we help children gain the skills they need to succeed. We believe that with the right support, every child can meet their potential and enjoy a fulfilling life.

Testimonials

My child was referred by his pediatrician to PPT for occupational therapy. Through the evaluation we decided that my child should get not just occupational therapy but speech therapy as well as oral/feeding therapy. I am very happy with the care and services provided here. Everyone is very friendly, professional and welcoming. Communication is great. They always return my calls or communicate via email if they are unable to reach me by phone. My child has worked with every therapist and everyone is awesome. Thank you Mrs. Sue, Mrs. Meredith, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Madison, Ms. Victoria, Ms. France for all that you do working with my child. They not only help work with my child but educate me how to work with my child at home. I love everyone. They go above and beyond to help me. I will be referring my patients here. I would recommend any family or friends that need occupational therapy, speech therapy and oral/feeding therapy.

My son received OT at Pediatric Play Therapy for almost 2 years. We were so lucky to have France as his OT. She is a wonderful therapist and built a strong bond with my son that helped him make so much progress. She always went above and beyond to find ways that worked for my son. Everyone from the office and the other therapists are extremely kind and always made us feel welcome. They worked with our schedule and always offered makeup times if we needed to miss a session. We have experienced a lot of different therapy centers and this one exceeded everything that we could possibly want for our son.

“My daughter and son are diagnosed with ASD. Both of them are non verbal and lack gross, and fine motor skills. They have been going to Pediatric Play Therapy for over 2 years. Pediatric Play Therapy allows us access to in-person services, personalized treatment plans, and so many practical home advices. Both of my children have improved so much since they have began. My daughter is now fully potty trained, she is now able to trace and copy tracing, she can independently put on her shoes, jacket and pants. Special thanks to her OT therapist Joanne who has worked on her from beginning. She has been tirelessly and passionately teaching my daughter all these goals for the last 2 years. Also to her speech therapist Madison who teaches her sign language and is currently teaching her how to use an AAC device. As for my son, his OT therapist Marylin patiently addresses his sensory needs as well as his fine motor skills. His speech therapist Melanie who has helped him in language development and joint attention. Every single one of the staff members are very knowledgeable, experienced and professional .The office administrator Ashley has always kindly accommodated our children's scheduling, and responds quickly.

Their facilities have lots of great equipment that you don’t always see at other OT facilities . I can’t express how much gratitude and blessed that I found Pediatric Play Therapy.”
